224 is about making youth provision in south Bristol the best it can be, by using the new Youth Zone as a hub and catalyst for partnership working.
Partnerships are key to our model, we have already partnered with lots of organisations from across the city to strengthen our delivery programme, ensuring young people across Bristol feel welcome and have access to a rich variety of activities.

The benefits of collaboration
This level of collaboration will also ensure we are enhancing the provision in the city at any one time during any given day, week, or month. We’re not looking to duplicate, we’re here to expand and enhance provision and engage a greater number of young people by highlighting all of the opportunities available to them across the city.
By working together, we also shine a light, not only on the amazing work that is being done in the sector, but it’s phenomenal social impact. This drives the need for supporting youth services further up the agenda and gives it a profile that helps attract new funding that hasn’t been available or accessible before.
224 does not detract from the importance of smaller local youth services or other youth organisations in the city, it complements it through partnership working.
